Troop 1778 is chartered by Lifestream Church, 5105 Leonardtown Rd Waldorf, MD.  We are committed to providing an exciting, challenging, and fun environment to develop boys into strong, independent leaders.  The adults firmly believe that Scouts should run the Troop in developing and executing the program.  A boy-led Troop allows greater participation and growth in boys as they mature into responsible young men.  The adult leaders provide support and assistance in accomplishing the boys’ goals and program while ensuring the safety of all the youth.

Troop 1778 and the Boy Scouts of America exist to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
